DeLallo Breadsticks, Thin, Grissini Torinese Style

Since 1950. Fine Italian foods. All natural. Imported from Italy. Original recipe. Made with olive oil. Grissini, fine crisp fingers made from bread dough, were originally hand produced in 1679 in Torino on the request of the royal doctor for his little patient, Duke Vittorio Amedeo of Savoia. They were an immediate success. People like Napoleon and King Carlo Felice, among others, nibbled at these bread fingers! Today, from the same region of Italy, DeLallo produces these breadsticks using the original recipe, to which malt and olive oil have been added for a finer, softer texture. Product of Italy.
