Mushrooms should have a fresh, well-shaped appearance,
firm texture and be free of spots. Avoid mushrooms that show
signs of deterioration, mold or that appear slimy.
Never store mushrooms in a plastic bag. Clean only when you’re
ready to use, preferably with a soft brush or damp paper towel. |
